It seems that AUDI has decided to enter motorcycle market. Just recently AUDI have presented their brand new concept motorcycle Motorrad.

Just last year AUDI have bought Italian motorcycel manufacturer Ducati for 1,12 billion US dollars. French designers, Thibault and Marc De Vauze have already used their imagination to sketch what would new AUDI motorcycle would look like. However Motorrad is based on Ducati 848.

Motorrad is power by 850 cubic centimeters L twin type cylinder engine. Based on the looks Mottorad will be extremely light! Its chassis is made of composite ultra light composite materials and carbon fiber.

Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) are best paid F-1 drivers in 2013. They make 20 million euros a year. This information has been revealed in „BUSINESS / book GP2013“ book. For some time Alonso has been top earner in F-1, but after joining Mercedes Lewis Hamilton now matches that figure.

The average salary for F-1 in 1013 is 4,8 million euros. It is 540 000 less than last year. 9 drivers make more than 1 million euros a year.

3000 BHP electric car to beat speed record

French car manufacturer Venturi, making electric sports carssuch as Venturi Fetish, will try to beat world speed record. The runs are scheduled for August this year.

French are planning to beat their own record they set sime time ago. The car they are going to use is Venturi Venturi VBB-3 electric car producing 3000 Break Horse Power. The new record maker, VBB-3, was design and assembled together with specialist from USA Ohio university.

As usual the run will take place at Boneville Salt Flats in Utah. This electric supercar will be driven by Roger Schroer, expert in such attempt, and holder of many records in this category.

The car will try to reach 600 km/h average speed!

In 2010 hydrogen powered Venturi VBB2,5 has reached average speed of 495 km/h and set world record for electric powered world speed record.

It is not a joke!!! Jenson Button, Formula 1 champion of 2009, drove Russian VAZ 2103 or LADA in Hungary.

Jenson had a chance to drive russian car during “Vodafone Red Show” in Hungary. These events are designed to increase road safety all around the world.

First of all, McLaren racing driver drove Mercedes Benz SL 63 AMG roadster with V8 engine producing 525 break horse power. These powerfull cars does not cause any problem as he is used to drive much more powerful F-1 cars, therefore maybe it was bigger challange to deal with VAZ 2103 or LADA!

VAZ 2103 was produced in Russia between 1972 and 1983. It was being exported abroad as well and was known as LADA 1500. Export LADA was equipped with 1,5 litre 75 horse power engine, it reached 100 km/h in 17 seconds and had top speed of 150 km/h.
